Cedar City
Cedar City is a full-service community with a wide variety of lodging, dining, and activity choices. Parowan
Parowan’s “Mother Town” nickname comes from being the original Southern Utah settlement that spurred the colonization of the west, including places like Cedar City, St. George, and Las Vegas. Every corner of Parowan has a story to tell, from the preserved pioneer homes to Heritage Park to Old Rock Church to Meeks Pond. Parowan is a popular family reunion location for descendants of the original settlers and those interested in history. Many of the original homes and business buildings still line the downtown area of the community, along with a tree-lined Main Street that takes visitors on a nostalgic trip back through time.
